Chris, nice addition, but you could use a link back to the main website from the forum.  If you do a search in the SMF forums you should be able to find out how. 
Take a look at the club website I did.  www.flyingeaglesrc.com  Click on the forum link.  As you can see, you can modify the template, header picture buttons etc.
