Hi Tom,

All that matters is how it looks at 150m!  I think it will be just fine Smiley

The C2 wings I have here are about 40g per panel lighter than the C1 I flew last year.

You are right Chad, if people can see the flaws at 150m then they are going to see so much else that I might as well stay at home! The plane looks okay actually, it's the usual thing as I have spent untold hours hunched over this thing that I know where all the flaws are... truth is, it really only matters how well it flies. I've built plenty of pattern planes myself, but all have been either ARF or ARC until this point... an now I know why... lol Wink

BTW, as a side note I am AMAZED at the new Futaba BLS153 servos I have in this thing for elevator and aileron. Got them both hooked up and set up last night and it's as close to zero slop as I have ever seen. Amazing.

Hi Tom,

Building your own is a lot of work, but I always think they fly better Smiley

All the BLS servos I have had were really tight on the gears, makes for a very good setup.  I have noticed on really calm days that I can see the difference with one beep on the lowest setting for trim with the 14z (when flying really long passes), thats a pretty fine level!

I have not tried the small ones on the elevator yet, might wait till next year since I have lots of 9650's I should find homes for!

Joe

Getting there, work has been very busy.   Have some nice new batteries that I am testing for work someday the cost will be low enough for us to use in the Planes. Have part of the glow fleet up and flying.
The Nickel Zinc cells should be out ,AA size 1.6 volts   think these  would be good for  Transmitter.
