Addiction canopy mount
«

Hello
I am currently building an Addiction bought directly from Delro. I have lost the builing instructions and I wondering about how to mount the canopy / hatch to the fuselage (including release mechanism). I see there is a small alu tube in the kit but can't fugure out what it is meant for. If someone (Chris..) have a picture of how this can be done, I would be very happy !!

One pin goes in the front of the canopy and a sleeve in the fuse. Another sleeve goes in the rear top of the canopy for the mounting bolt. The rear sleeve does not of course stick out like in this pic but is cut flush.

One hint is to make sure your canopy frame is mounted to the fuse before you glue down the plastic canopy to it. Otherwise you can torque the canopy frame and it won't line up correctly after the glue dries.

Thanks Chris, this makes sense !
I assume then that the alu tube is used at the top of the hatch with a blind nut glued to the fuselage ?
